Founded in Shiraz and built forward in Vancouver, Giva combines nearly 30 years of professional experience with practical, owner-minded project delivery.
Ben Basirat — Founder & Principal
Turning difficult ideas into buildable results.
Giva's construction story began in Shiraz in 1999, when Ben started his first development—a five-storey, 13-unit residential building—and built a business spanning renovations, cabinetry, flooring, interior design and architectural coatings, including representing Jotun Paints. The original showroom remains active today under his brothers' management.
An Industrial Engineer specializing in Planning and Systems Analysis, Ben brings critical-path thinking, cost control and practical problem-solving to every project.
After moving to Vancouver in 2011, he expanded into residential renovation, commercial construction and specialized tenant improvements. Since 2015, Giva has delivered medical, dental, pharmacy, physiotherapy and wellness spaces across the Lower Mainland while advancing into multifamily development and construction management.
